Our food is always made from scratch by our talented chefs Mikkel and Christian, who continually offer a new and varied menu tailored to the season.
We work closely with local producers and enthusiasts, minimize food waste and invite guests into an environment where they can feel welcome and inspired.

Gallery Lisa Klok
At the same address as RöD you will find Lisa Klok's gallery, studio and framing workshop. Here you can experience Lisa's unique art universe, see the latest works and gain insight into the process behind them.
The gallery is open to visitors and you are welcome to explore the art when you stop by. The gallery and RöD are connected and you can move freely between the buildings with your coffee in hand.
Chef wanted – full time
Are you a committed and experienced chef who wants to pay attention to detail and give your guests a great tasting experience? Then we have the job for you!
We are currently looking for a chef to our lovely team at Red in Rønde. You will become part of a team where a good atmosphere, quality and service are in focus.
Café RöD is located at Rønde's old fire station together with Galleri Lisa Klok.
RöD opened in the fall of 2025 in our newly renovated premises with a beautiful view over Kaløvig.
Here we have created a restaurant that offers both brunch, lunch and dinner à la carte.
We focus on good craftsmanship with great flavors and dishes made from scratch with local suppliers. We also host parties and combine events with Galleri Lisa Klok.
The evening ticket offers up to 3 courses with accompanying wine menu, where we focus on a few, but good dishes. The menu changes every month and follows the seasonal ingredients. So the desire for innovation and development is a must. Right now we are running a summer card and looking forward to all the tourists visiting Djursland.
We have a strong team with good experience from the industry, which includes the head chef, a sommelier, waiters and a lot of wonderful café employees and dishwashers.
